These systems consist of three essential components: detectors, a control unit, and suppressors. When an ignition occurs, the rapid increase in temperature generates a pressure wave that precedes the flame front. Our high-sensitivity pressure detectors immediately recognize this characteristic pressure rise.
The control unit processes the detection signal and triggers the suppressors to release a suppressant at high speed. Specially engineered nozzles disperse the suppressant, cooling the expanding fireball and minimizing the explosion pressure. For additional safety, our suppression systems are integrated with chemical or mechanical explosion isolation measures to prevent flame or pressure propagation to other connected equipment.
