SNCR DeNOx System by ERC

Cost-Efficient NOₓ Reduction with Flexible, Intelligent Design

ERC’s SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) technology offers a proven and economical solution for reducing harmful nitrogen oxides (NOₓ) from industrial flue gases. Designed for flexibility, efficiency, and rapid integration, SNCR systems are ideal for operators seeking reliable emissions control with minimal disruption to their processes.

How It Works
At flue gas temperatures between 850–1,100°C, the SNCR process introduces ammonia (NH₃) or urea-based agents into the gas stream. These reagents chemically react with nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), converting them into harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water (H₂O)—without the need for a catalyst.

ERC’s SNCR systems are composed of:
• A storage unit for the reducing agent
• A precision metering system
• A custom-designed injection and atomization module

Thanks to intelligent multi-level injection and optimized control, the reaction takes place only within the ideal temperature zone, ensuring high NOₓ removal efficiency while minimizing reagent usage.
Chemical Options for NOₓ Reduction
ERC’s SNCR solutions support multiple reagents, including:
• Ammonia solution (20–25% wt%)
• Urea solution (32.5–50% wt%) — including ERC’s proprietary Carbamin 5722

Both agents offer effective NOₓ reduction through controlled thermal reactions, each tailored to your operation’s safety, handling, and efficiency requirements.
