ERC’s SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system offers one of the most effective solutions for industrial NOₓ emissions control—achieving removal efficiencies of up to 95%. By leveraging catalytic chemistry at low flue gas temperatures, SCR delivers reliable, high-performance results across a wide range of industries.
Ultra-High NOₓ Reduction Efficiency at Lower Temperatures

How It Works
In the SCR process, ammonia (NH₃) or a urea-based agent is injected into the flue gas stream. At temperatures between 180–400°C, and in the presence of a catalyst, the ammonia reacts with nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) to form harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water vapor (H₂O).

ERC’s systems utilize the proven Carbamin 5722 as a reduction agent, and feature a robust catalytic reactor design that can include up to four catalyst layers. The catalyst modules can be integrated either:
• Upstream of the air preheater (High-Dust Setup), or
• Downstream of the flue gas cleaning system (Low-Dust Setup)—with re-heating as needed
Each plant is engineered to match site-specific conditions and minimize ammonia slip while ensuring high efficiency and low operating cost.
